Kellogg's New Breakfast Products

As part of the FoodBuzz Tastemaker program, I was offered the above samples from Kellogg's. The fruit crisps taste like a slimmed down pop-tart - sugary sweet, yet at 100 calories not bad if you need a rush. The granola was tasty, although also quite sweet. These are not the kinds of products I buy regularly but it was neat to sample them as part of this promotion.

Fiesta Fiesta!

Fresh-cooked meat for tacos and buritos.

On Sunday we attended Fiesta Atlanta, a Cinco de Mayo annual festival held at Centennial Olympic Park. Thankfully we went early, and it paid off with tons of freebies including an entire package of tortillas, cookies, loads of Little Debbie snacks, various juices and power drinks and much more! It was a great day for another festival! We also managed to run into an Atlanta Hawks block party, as preparations for Sunday's game began. They wouldn't let us shoot baskets as we were too old for the 12 year age limit, but I did win a magnet :).

The big picture.

Old-fashioned festival food was also available.

McDonald's Now Offering McCafe

Hot drink selection includes mocha, latte, cappucino and hot chocolate.

I'm not a big fan of fast food. Or chains. However, I am also not a big fan of paying $5 for a coffee and I do sometimes get a real craving for an iced or hot mocha. When I was offered some coupons to try (and have my readers try) McDonald's new McCafe drinks, I accepted. If you'd like a free coupon, please contact me or if you know me in real life, just ask! As soon as I try one, I will update with my opinion.

Cold selection includes iced latte and iced mocha.
