In Hong Kong, if you want to eat at low price at reasonably nice restaurants, you can play around with timing. Today I have a late lunch (local restaurants call it tea time after 2pm) and enjoyed a very low price lunch - I believe half price as that of peak hour. Our six course dim sum lunch costed only HK$40 (US$5.1) for each of us, all inclusive.Chicken Noodle - HK$9.8 油鷄米線
(only available after 2pm)
Amazingly low price !
Duo Rice Roll - HK$8.8 炸兩 Typical Hong Kong breakfast dish,
usually served with plain congee.
But it is also available as dim sum in many restaurants.
